Me and my friends were saying the same thing. Especially since his votes are three times the second highest amount of votes. And all the comments on his game sound the same.

Yes, indeed. If you ask me, this whole thing is highly suspect.

As I understand, the votes at the moment do not decide who wins. I think they reset at deadline.

In the end they pick one out of 5 so what he is doing is pointless.

Don't worry. When the contest concludes we will take the top 5 legitimate entries.

Sorry but I've never read in rules, that having many votes is cheating,

We have really tried, to introduce our product to anyone in the different communities and forums.

the biggest ones you can see here

http://www.compinfo.ge/index.php?area=1&p=news&newsid=2204

http://www.overclockers.ge/forum/index.php?showtopic=15045&st=0

http://forum.ge/?f=28&showtopic=34016830

You may can't read the forums, because its in georgian language, but still you can see number of views and replies. our content is just to inform people about our work, not to force them to vote us. As far as I know many of our voters gave the votes to another games too.

We had done this, after we saw many participants doing this as well. and its not against musegame contest rules.

But still, we can't control all our voters, We don't know if someone is doing some fake registration and cheating. and if someone dose, its not will be good if contest will be baned.

Sorry for big post, I juts wanted to inform you, that we don't want win any contest, with cheating or some illegitimate. thank's a lot .

Where does "black humor" come into this game? If this is truly a fake, please disqualify this guy for cheating. There are so many great contenders with awesome concepts in this contest. I hope that the mods choose more than the five they initially hoped for because basing it purely on votes would be too demanding.

Especially for the low-rated games that are good. (Y)

After all, kids, honesty is the best policy.

sorry I put here the comment that I would like to put into your new post of the starting immunity voting:

"sorry, I don't understand your note:

On that note, we are tracking account creation very closely. CREATING ACCOUNTS to vote on your concept WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION.

I voted for 2 games and I'm a new user of your site, with my voting I sentenced to elimination the only that I wanted to save?

Seems a dog that bite its own tail...

the only way to vote someone is to be registered so it's normal that will be many and many new entries in your database, cause you are a little reality, and this prize logically will increase your community...and it's not so bad for you, probably an half of these new entries will became active in your community and so on...

disqualify all those who have votes as new users is like playing in a self-loop or not?

so please explain me this sentence to sleep and to sleep all quieter!

thank you very much and kind regards"

I put here cause the comment wasn't accepted in the post, rightly believe, the image must be respected...

I am going to go out on a limb here, and say what they are referring to is if 20 accounts all get registered from the same IP address and suddenly vote for the same game. That would be obvious "gaming the system".

People coming to their website specifically to register and then vote probably is not what they are looking for. They, themselves, have advertised this contest in several places. Their own advertisements will bring random people to their site whose sole intention is to register and then vote on the advertised contest.

I am sure they have their way of deciding who is "padding" the votes and who is not. It may not have anything to do with IP checking... may be something entirely different. I just tend to doubt they are going to instantly flag an entry just because someone new registered and then voted. That is, after all, the entire point of this contest for them. To draw more site traffic and get new people coming to their site.

Well, that and to draw attention to their developer program. Something everyone who entered a prototype in this contest should go look at. It is a sad fact that we are not all going to win... but that does not mean we cannot still work with the wonderful people at Muse Games to develop our games. They have an entire system set up for exactly that.

DISCLAIMER: I am not affiliated with Muse Games, nor do I have a secret mind-reading device that lets me in on their thought processes (Although, that would come in handy right about now). The above was just my opinion.

Despite not having a mind reader device, I think you summed it up quite nicely. Thanks Chaotic.
