I'm using Windows 7, bought the game over steam yesterday and it just refuses to start...

Those are the first few lines i copied from the error log:

Would you mind explaining to me what's going on?

I've just bought and installed Guns of Icarus on Steam.
When started, I can adjust the resolution and graphics options but when the game is actually activated it does not proceed past the first "Muse Games" logo.

The circle spins and there is no crashing but it will not carry on to the game, showing this screen indefinitely.

I am running on Vista 32bit. Any help is appreciated.

I bought the full game off steam on a gamble and it paid off - it's a great indie game and well worth the money.

I have a question re: the campain mode in single player. How can I try some different routes off the route I've already taken? I seem to be locked into just replaying those previously played routes.

You can start new campaigns and use different route's.

Machine: Mac OS 10.5.8
Interface: Steam for Mac

There is a return route to the right - you have to make sure you are moused over the return route.

hehe after i saw that reply i felt more then a little silly, but on coming home and trying a brand new campaign im still stuck.

i finish the outward mission and take 2 supercannons as reward but back on the map i can only select the outward mission again, how do i select the return route? as soon as i put my mouse anywhere near either route it just selects the same one.

How long do we wait for a reply?

I bought the game from Steam, but the game starts I can pick either multiplayer or campain but they both crash within the first minute of running the game without any error message, they just go strait to desktop.

Windows Vista 32bit
4 MB ram
dual invidia 8500's
internet Explorer 8

avatar is on auto run and will not stop, just keeps running off the ship

windows 7 64 bit

The samething is happening to me only I'm on a brand spankin new MacBook Pro.
4GB of RAM 512MB of VRAM.
2.8 GHZ.

I also bought the Indie pack on Steam and not a single game works. It's frustrating me to no end and I'm losing hope in Indie games.

I restarted steam and it updates...it's done it several times but the problems still persist.
Someone, anyone, please help.

This appears to be an NVidia driver issue, based on this line "nvd3dum.dll caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005)". Have you tried updating your GPU drivers?

We've attributed some of the mac issues specifically to the steam client. Since none of the games work, that is evidence it is a problem with steam, not the games. I'll put you in touch with our contact at valve.

I'm experiencing the same issue. The return route from Kian is unselectable.

Level 3 the part with the return path does not work correctly if you go that way you are stuck the only option is to start a new campain.

I disagree. I took the route to Kian, and managed to select the return route after a few attempts at highlighting it. Try approaching the route marker from below, moving your cursor through the circle 'Kesh' to the middle of the return route. Should work. Trial and error, but I've done it a few times.
