Gratz on a Great Concept Ben, it looks great. I dint even know the parameters of the camera can be altered doing game play, This idea opens up a new can of worms for playing with exposure when something in a game explodes!
Thanks Kevin.
If I had three more days of contest time, I would have given the player some challenging pictures to take. Alas, they just get to play with the camera.

three more days eheh but for all you use only unity prefab...just scripting the camera, come on
For a guy who calls himself syphilis you sure a dick... well I guess that's kind of the point isn't it?
I didn't want to offend your friend, unlike you, I just wanted to say that unlike 80% of the prototypes we have here he only used Prefab, from character animation, trees, etc..
I can achieve the same result in 2 hours max, not because I'm good but with Prefab is really simple (merit of unity).
I didn't think for this contest the possibility to use things already done by others to set up a prototype and only do something.
However something that has done is interesting.
This is just to explain ::: please don't continue to offend ::: respectin your friend and his game!
bye

I agree. This is not even a game really. I could've put this together myself within a hour. i have no idea how this game received more votes in one day than all the other games (3-6x more)...seems a bit fishy to me...i really hope they don't base the contest on voting alone because I sense a lot of cheating going on here...
I'm glad meinboi senses a disturbance in the force. The implication that I am cheating because I got more votes is odious. You are committing two logical fallacies: argumentum ad ignorantiam, or "Argument from ignorance" and non sequitur, or "it does not follow." There is a wide logical gap between getting lots of votes quickly and cheating. Essentially, I am guilty of cheating because I have received more votes. The reverse of this is giving the rooster credit for raising the sun with its crowing. Yours is an argument of correlation, not causation.
On my vote total: I put up a cool demo and asked my peers to vote for it. That's it. If Muse Games thinks I cheated, then I'll take it up with them. This is the last you'll hear from me on it.
Syphilis and teamfrenchfry, it was actually a little more involved than that. Each of the little camera tricks (exposure, depth of field, etc) are a unique interplay between a couple different systems. Mostly rendering, shaders, and lighting. There is no method to call in the Camera API to, say, make an image specifically blurry. If you're curious, I'd love to totally geek out about it on this forum; I've had my head buried in it for the last month, so it would be almost cathartic to share.

I don't think this contest should be about who could get the most people to vote for their project. If I wanted to do that I could have hundreds of votes myself. I think it is fishy behavior. I'm not trying to single you out. It appears many of the games here are doing the same thing. All I'm saying is that they should base it on other criteria. Voting seems flawed.
ehi ben i consider your scriptin as interesting, for me it's a good work creative too, I was only astonish about the prefab
bye bye good luck

I agree with Bentropy, It's absolutely not trivial to achive those effects. Moreover it was clear to me, playing the game, that he has concentrated his efforts in the core idea of the game. I'm an amateur photographer and I find very interesting this game, also for those who want to learn the basics of photography. Keep on with this project !!
The least you can say is that this guy thinks about his game design and tried to do something original.
I love the way the character's thoughts are scattered through the terrain. It makes you want to "collect" them and it's a great way to guide your player towards something without it feeling too forced upon you.

I voted for this because I saw the demo, and Liked it, I was asked to take a minute and watch the demo, and if I liked it, to vote accordingly, which I did,, DEAL WITH IT<

Good point. You should probably tell that to the guys who made a breakout clone, the guys who made a clone of the board game "15," and the guys who made a Super Monkey Ball clone.
I'm sure they'd love to hear all about how their games are "things already done by others to setup a prototype"
Some of you are bringing up a good point: is winning based on voting? Voting is flawed, it's almost natural. Guys/gals with a strong social network and large families will naturally have more votes instantly. I wouldn't call that cheating.
Hope other factors come into play and winning is not based solely on votes...
