Things are really coming together with our latest game CreaVures. Here’s some of the stuff we’ve been basing our development off of, including a rare look into our office walls – plastered with ideas as they always are. Looking forward to demonstrating some of the gameplay, and the many unique elements of this game! Stay tuned for more sneak peeks, a dedicated teaser page, and of course, a scintillating new trailer!

Love,
The Muse Team

Giant Wrench FTW

As some of you may have noticed, we’ve unfortunately hit a snag and are being forced to slightly postpone the release of GUNS of ICARUS.

Big apologies for ‘jumping the gun,’ this kind of came out of left field and caught us off guard. Or, in the words of a 16 year old boy: Fail.

We’ll definitely keep you all posted on the situation, and we’ll be back before you know it.

In the meantime, here’s some story panels to hold you over…

Announcing our Developer Program Beta

developers
We are proud to announce the beta launch of our developer program. Now anyone can submit their Unity games to be considered for hosting on Muse Games.

By hosting a game on Muse, developers will be able to take advantage of all the monetization and community capabilities Muse has to offer, including our microtransaction system, member profiles, leaderboards, chat, forums, achievements, marketing efforts, and of course our users.

Most importantly, we are developers too. We’ve been making games with Unity for about 3 years now. We believe in Unity and we believe in 3D on the web – so much so that we built a company, Muse Games, to be the essential destination for 3D browser gaming. And we are constantly working to make our offerings better: opening our multiplayer backend, adding to and improving our games & site features, and above all, refining the experience for our users.

To learn more about our developer program, check out our developers page at: http://musegames.com/developers/

Physics based Games: Controls

2

Google's 03D

Just the other day, Google announced O3D, their plugin for deploying 3D content on the web. Though they’re hardly the first (as anyone visiting Muse Games is no doubt aware), Google’s involvement is a sign of the growing desire for 3D in the browser. Read the rest of this entry »
