Greetings from the dim corner of our office!
After playing Guns of Icarus for a while (Ok, a long while), we’re getting pretty close to figuring out what is humanly possible in game and in the last level, Into the Breach. Well, who knows, after a week, some of you can probably already kick our butts.
In any case, I’m issuing a little challenge the developer wager. For the first 5 people who can beat what’s on the screen shot below in both distance reached AND total enemy planes taken down:
You will receive:
1. A free Muse t-shirt (it’s actually pretty nice looking)
2. A complete set of Icarus art (including all the in game paintings) in full res,
3. And…A free lunch paid for by me with everyone here. Wait, this means I’ll have to buy everyone lunch…Oh man.
Throwing in a little tip, to get far on Into the Breach, you may want to front load your ship with kick ass guns.

I imagine this prize was claimed looong ago, but if not – I just crossed a distance of 39,592.05 meters with a total of 131 kills
I’ve done this well, except for the gunships. I can get close to 40,000 miles, but only encounter two or three gunships. My score has been higher than the one posted, but I don’t see the gunships. Once a player gets some experience this is not such a daunting task. Can you make the game harder?

Did I win, or is it over? That would blow. I guess I’ll have the comfort of knowing that I did it.
Should I send in a screenshot? I’m taking one even if I don’t get squat, because I’m proud.

I got 62.2km and 134 kills. A part of me says I shouldn’t be as proud of this score as I am.
I’ve gotten to roughly 44-50km? and my big question is… is this the end of the game? a never ending level- I.E. survival? The advertising I read said 18 missions, and 8 guns- I have yet to see as many as either… If that’s all there is to the game- that’s cool, it is a hellofa fun game, and was soooo cheap- it’s been $ well spent. but I would like to know if trying to beat ‘into the breach’ is futile?- reach more missions dare I ask?

If you fly all the levels in all the campaigns, there are actually 19 levels total (simply count the routes on the map), plus “Into the Breach”, which like you said, is a survival level. Glad you dig.
I got 310 kills and reach a level of 40,608 – I have also had a game with 158 kills and a level of 61864 – I would post the screen shot if i knew how
